The Beauty Battle // Make-Up Setting Sprays

About a fortnight ago, I finally ran out of my Urban Decay De-Slick Makeup Setting Spray and found myself searching for a new, less expensive setting spray. I tend to use setting sprays in the summertime to avoid makeup running down my face and to control my oily T-zone, but I have to admit it isn't exactly a necessity. That is probably the reason why I decided to go for the NYX Dewy Finish Setting Spray which is a fraction of the price of the Urban Decay spray. If you happen to be in the market for a setting spray, here is a condensed comparison of the two that may help you deduct the winner.

  1. Thanks for the compariosn ! I'm currently using an Elf setting spray that I find pretty good for the price.

  2. Ooh very nice I've heard good things about the Urban Decay one. I'm currently using the Urban Decay De-Slick mattifying powder and I love it!
Great blog you've got yourself a new follower :-)

  4. I love the comprison at the bottom, very helpful! Your newest follower :)

  5. I need a setting spray for summer - unfortunately we can't get NYX in UK so I might have to splurge on the UD one!

  6. I have the UD spray and love it. I think it's totally worth the money :) xx

  7. AWESOME post! I love facial sprays they are so refreshing and add a longlasting effect to your makeup.

  8. I've never tried a setting spray, but I've always wanted to! Do you really find that it helps to keep your makeup on better than a primer or more than just primer alone? I feel like my primer works a treat, but wouldn't mind having the extra oomph if it truly makes a difference! x

  9. Thanks for sharing doll! Ill need to get their setting spray.

  10. I love the Urban Decay spray although I agree that it is quite a high price point.
    Nice to see another alternative!
